Parent Coffees at PHP

Infants, Toddlers and School-Aged Children

The first Wednesday of each month from 9:30 am to 11 am.   We welcome parents of a child with any condition.

If you are newer to special needs or just want to talk, the Parent Coffee is a wonderful way to learn from other parents and find local supports.  At this Parent Coffee, the only agenda is yours!

Facilitated by PHP staff, everyone has a chance to talk and ask questions.

The need for support is one of the most significant factors in managing the day to day experience of facing a diagnosis of language or global delays, autism, intellectual disability, seizure disorder, cerebral palsy or a rare condition.

Suggested attendance is parents of little ones through school-aged children.  Babes in arms welcomed otherwise this is just for parents.

Adult Children: Planning for the Future

The third Monday of each month from 11:00 am to 12:30pm.   We welcome parents of adult children with any concerns.

As we age along with our children, a new set of concerns arise.  Who can best support you in that journey but other parents?

Most conversations are about life planning and not so much about school issues.  If your child is still in school and you are having difficulty, may we suggest that you contact PHP at 408-727-5775 and ask to speak with an education specialist.
