Three times a year, PHP offers parents of children with a confirmed or suspected disability a 6-week series of education, information, and support called Sharing the Journey.  Parents can attend whichever sessions best meet their family needs. 

 

The six components the series will offer:

 

• Self Care Strategies & Understanding Parental Grief

• Getting Organized With a Medical Home/Care Notebook 

• The Ultimate Collaboration Tool: 1 Page Profile

• How to Better Respond When A Child Has Challenging Behavior 

• Public Benefits Overview 

• Building Resilience Using the 5 Protective Factors  

 

         

            

 

English & Spanish sessions are on Wed evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Vietnamese is 2 consecutive Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

 

Cost for all 6 weeks:            Free for PHP members

                                               $25 for non-members

 

Cost for Single sessions:    Free for PHP members

                                               $10 for non-members
