The majority of our assistance is provided through one-on-one phone consultations. When you call PHP, you will be connected with one of our staff, each of who are themselves a parent or family member of children with a disability.

We are here to:

• Help you understand your rights and responsibilities,

• Answer questions and provide resources and referrals about a variety of topics related to special needs.

• Help parents problem solve, set priorities and review pros and cons of options

• Coach parents and provide strategies to prepare for IEP, IFSP or other special needs meetings

• Model collaborative communication

• Support parents in building skills to cope with stressful situations
