Techsplorations for families (parents and children) are $75 for PHP members, $100 for non-members.If you are a school district or other agency wishing to schedule a Techsploration for a student or client, please call for pricing options. Here are the technologies for different age groups. 

Infants and Preschoolers 

Technology for Infants and Preschoolers (TIP),  is an early intervention service that introduces young children to technology during a Techsploration.  Explore switch-toys, simple communication devices and other technology tools to help meet your child's  goals. Funding may be available for San Andreas Regional Center clients ages 0-3 years old. Contact your child's regional center service coordinator for authorization or call us for more info.

School-Aged Children 

Schedule a Techsploration to explore tools to help your child or student with reading, writing, math, organization, attention & focusing, time management, social skills, communication, behavior and computer access.  From low-tech tools to iPad apps and computer software, we can customize a Techsploration to meet your child's specific needs.

College-Bound Students

This “Transition to College” Techsploration is appropriate for middle or high school students with disabilities who are planning to attend college. Students and their parents will explore the most common tools used by students with learning disabilities in college, including tools for reading, writing, note-taking and organization.  Get acquainted with the technology your child should master before entering college! Your child will also receive valuable tips on self-advocacy, how to navigate the college system and ways in which to acquire assistive technology.

Adults and Providers

Technology for Adults and Providers (TAP) is a Techsploration service which explores technology options for adults with developmental disabilities. See and explore tools for independence and self-determination in the areas of task completion, safety, cooking, social skills, behavior and more. Funding for this Techsploration may be available for San Andreas Regional Center clients ages 22 and above.  Please contact your child's regional center service coordinator for authorization or call us for more info.
